Cavendish Castle
Cavendish Castle is one of the most famous fortresses on the outskirts of Wales. Historians have dated its construction back to the 9th century. The actual building may be small but its structure was successful in protecting its inhabitants from the Scottish Invaders during the Bagpipe Wars.
The Original owner of the castle was His Majesty King Duncan. The King lived with his wife Queen Candice and his many servants. Some of the better-known people in the castle included Mrs. Zarnicky, the castle cook; Sir Cumference, a fat and trusted knight; Garrett, a young page and Cornelius Monk, a renowned blacksmith.
