The Castle Cook – I’m Mrs. Zarnicky the cook. I work in the castle kitchens roasting, broiling, and baking food in the fireplaces and ovens. I scowl at the serving people and the other kitchen help. If I see a rat in my kitchen, I hit it with a wooden spoon and add it to the soup. Mice however are a different story. I hate mice, although their feet do make excellent toothpicks.
