The Minstrel – Hello! Jayden’s my name and I provide castle entertainment in the form of singing and playing my lute. I often record the deeds of heroic knights in songs. I create my own ballads and I am famous for memorising long poems based on myths and legends. These poems are called ‘chansons de geste’. The songs I sing often deal with chivalry and courtly love but I also tell stories of far-off lands and historical events. I also enjoy playing the music of Sir Elton John.
